Enjoy childhood, they say.<\/p>\n

I will. I do. Or, at least, I did.<\/span><\/p>\n

I\u2019m over here living my best life with my best friends and science club. And in three weeks, we\u2019re going to GamerCon.<\/p>\n

Suddenly, my parents want to talk about my choices<\/span>. It\u2019s so unfair. Why am I grounded for enjoying my childhood? I\u2019m doing exactly what they said to do.<\/p>\n

I know I\u2019m not a parent. But I\u2019m pretty sure \u2018doing what you say you\u2019ll do\u2019 is in the top five rules of parenting. It\u2019s right up there with \u2018feed the kid\u2019. Just my opinion.<\/p>\n

Now I\u2019ve lost everything good because the grown people in my life don\u2019t make any sense.<\/p>\n
